The Ranch is located high in the pines at nearly 6,500 feet above sea level, on the east plateau overlooking the Park. The resort is located at the base of an 11,000-foot mountain in the center of the Dixie National Forest. After breakfast, the recreation staff will load up the shuttle vans and head for the hills where the powder is steep and deep. Guests can choose a short shuttle ride to cross-country skiing and snowmobiling areas, or a longer ride to the Brian Head Ski Resort for downhill skiing and snowboarding.
